Elysia Med publishes drug references from Carrer de Pau Claris in Barcelona. Four medicines, seven briefings, and one physician who reads everything before it goes out.
Why the list is so short
A catalogue of four hundred drugs teaches almost nothing, because nobody can keep four hundred labels straight. Four medicines and seven briefings is a workload where every claim can be traced to the current US prescribing information and argued properly. We sell no tablets, rank no pharmacies, and take no money from manufacturers.
What is covered
Prednisone, written around the 2.5 mg tablet and the question of how a course ends. Then the three PDE5 inhibitors: tadalafil as 5 mg daily or 10 mg when needed, sildenafil across 25, 50 and 100 mg, vardenafil from 2.5 up to 20 mg. Each drug gets a profile with an EM reference number, plus briefings that take a different angle rather than repeating the profile. Reader questions at the foot of each page are answered by Dr. Marc Vidal.
How a page is put together
The label comes first, then the warning that matters before any dose, then the strength this site anchors to, then review, then publication. Chapter order differs from page to page. Tables appear where a number changes a decision and nowhere else.
Who stands behind it
Drafts are written by the editorial team and read by Marc Vidal before they publish. His name, his specialty and his profile stay on the page. An anonymous "medically reviewed" badge tells a reader nothing, so we do not use one.
What we read
Current FDA prescribing information, EMA assessments where the European position differs, the American College of Rheumatology's glucocorticoid guidance, and named trials rather than summaries of them. Outbound links go to the FDA, MedlinePlus and the WHO so our claims can be checked. Where the live label and this site disagree, the label is right.
