A reference page knows nothing about you
What you read here describes an average patient. Your prescriber knows the rest: your other medicines, your kidneys and heart, your bone density and blood sugar, whether you might become pregnant, and the physical examination no website can perform. Before acting on any figure on this site, read the current FDA prescribing information and speak to somebody licensed where you live. Reader names in the forum threads are editorial; Marc has never met the person asking.
Two warnings we will not soften
Prednisone taken for longer than a short course is reduced gradually under medical supervision. Even 2.5 mg is a glucocorticoid, and stopping abruptly can leave the adrenal axis unable to respond. Tadalafil, sildenafil and vardenafil are never combined with organic nitrates in any form, whether prescribed or bought recreationally, because the fall in blood pressure can be fatal. Both statements are teaching points and neither replaces a proper contraindication review for your own case.
